Here comes your lead is a strategic event that acts as a marketplace for early-stage research projects developing therapies and national and international platforms, CROs and big pharma corporations (partners) looking for projects to establish a research collaboration model with shared risk and profit. With this event, Biocat aims to help projects accelerate the drug-discovery process and boost the flow of therapeutic molecules in advanced phases.

Biocat compiles the projects, with non-confidential information, and facilitates direct contact with the partners, which review the proposals and choose the ones that best fit their needs and interests. The projects can also choose their partner. So, both sides choose who they want to meet with.

In 2019, the Here comes your lead partners included Evotec (EU), LifeArc (UK), FuturX (Israel), Inkemia IUCT (Mollet) and CRG (Barcelona), plus collaboration from two consultancy firms: Eva Mendez Drug Discovery and M. Miralpeix Pharma Consulting. The 31 participating projects held 85 meetings.
